Signing Day for Westminster Athletes

On Wednesday, Nov. 13, a group of talented student-athletes were honored for their college commitments, marking an exciting step forward in their athletic and academic careers. These Division I, Division II, and Division III athletes have dedicated countless hours to training, academics, and competing, earning the chance to continue their sports at the collegiate level. Their commitment reflects not only their personal drive but also the support from coaches, teammates, families, and friends, who joined them in Gund Reading Room. This day is a celebration of their hard work and resilience, paving the way for new challenges and opportunities in college athletics. We look forward to seeing them excel on their respective college teams and in their future pursuits.

Athletic Director Tim Joncas '00 summed up the day well. "The signing and commitment days we have each year are tremendous. Not only do we get to celebrate our athletes who will be moving on to compete in the NCAA, but we also get to celebrate our school, our values, and our commitment to competitive athletics. To continue to have 22 - 25% of our graduating class head off to compete at the collegiate level is remarkable. It not only speaks to the commitment our athletes have made to their sport, it speaks to the commitment our coaches have made to their programs and their athletes. Overall, it is just a feel good day on so many levels!"
