Martlets Place 17th

Westminster traveled to St. Mark’s for the NEPSTA D2 New England Championships this weekend. After a day of significant rainfall, the temperatures were unseasonably warm and the course proved to be more slick than usual. All things considered, the day went as planned and the team got a full, guided tour of the course before warming up. In the varsity race, Sam Bradley ‘25 led the pack and James O’Connell ‘25 set another PR, notably the fourth consecutive race he has chipped away at his previous best time. In the junior varsity race, Will Henry ‘26 took nearly 30 seconds off his time and Hewitt Shelton ‘23 had a notable and strong finish to his senior season on cross country. The boys cross country team has had a great season of running, traveling, and racing together. Next up: spring track.
