Students Participate in Northern Region Music Festival

Three Westminster students participated in the Northern Region Music Festival Jan. 18-19 at New Britain High School.  Julia Krys ’19, Curtis Brockelman ’19 and Harry Stevenson ’20 auditioned for the festival in early November and were selected to participate. “It’s a great honor,” said David Chrzanowski, head of Westminster’s Visual and Performing Arts Department, who accompanied the students to the festival. The students rehearsed with other participants then participated in a concert with about 150 other singers from northern Connecticut.
