Westminster believes that the cost of an independent school education should not be a deterrent to prospective families. The Director of Financial Aid, Nick Wilbur, will guide families through the process of applying for financial aid to ensure that Westminster welcomes students who embody the school’s core values of Community, Character, Balance and Involvement, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Thanks to the generosity of alumni, parents, and friends, Westminster's financial aid budget enables roughly one third of our student body to live, study and compete at one of the nation’s leading boarding schools.

We encourage any family who feels they may need financial assistance to apply for financial aid. Intended as a supplement to family resources, financial aid awards are made not only to families whose ability to pay school costs is extremely limited, but also to those who may need only a minor subsidy to meet tuition requirements. Furthermore, Westminster’s financial aid program is need-based and does not include Merit, Athletic or Academic scholarships.
