Dramat to Present “The 39 Steps”

Westminster’s Dramat Association will present the play “The 39 Steps” Nov. 6, 7, and 8 at 8 p.m. in the school’s Werner Centennial Center. Doors open at 7:45 p.m.

Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have “The 39 Steps.”  The plot revolves around Richard Hannay, a man with a dull life who meets a woman who claims she is a spy. The woman is murdered the very same night he takes her home. Soon after, a secretive organization called The 39 Steps undertakes a nationwide search for Hannay.  Will they catch him and take over the world, or will Hannay restore the universal peace? The play is rated PG.
The performances are free and open to the public with general admission seating. Parking will be available in the lot adjacent to Armour Academic Center.
